I photographed this beautiful couple before I went on vacation. I just heard from N that they have a little girl, and I am having a newborn photo session with them this weekend! I am looking forward to capturing their little daughter.

A little blog love contest!

Hello Toronto and GTA mommies!
To celebrate my new blog and the vibrant summer colours, I am having a blog contest. Winner receives a free mini-photosession and a free 5×7″ print (approx. $130 value). Who am I looking for? Babies between 3 months and 9 months*. To enter, please drop me a comment on this blog, then email me at yuan@ladybugphotos.ca with your contact information. I will stop taking entries after 10 submissions or July 20th, whichever is sooner, so respond fast.  Session will be scheduled some time in August/early September.

Here’s the contest limitations and rules:

- no obligation to purchase
- 10% off all print products, if you wish to purchase
- model release required
- one entry per family, one child per entry
- Your home/location to be no more than 30 minutes from Canada’s Wonderland, Vaughan (as per Google Maps)

*I will be having a couple more free mini-sessions in the next month for different age groups.

Session Album

I photographed this little toddler a few weeks ago. He’s such a ham and was smiling for me throughout the entire session.

I loved mom’s expression when I presented her with the Session Album. Twenty images mounted onto an archival grade album, ready to be popped into your purse to show off your little one.

My mother-in-law is an accomplished writer, with a few published books.  Imagine her delight that her grand daughter loves books (and ducks), sharing in her passion.

New blog!

We’re back from vacation and ready to focus on Ladybug Photos again.

I received a great response to my New Faces Special. I really enjoyed meeting and photographing several wonderful families.

The summer is a great time to photos of your kids. We can have fun outdoors, it’s about celebrating the warm weather!

Just one photo to get us started, my little daughter, on our vacation to Newfoundland. It’s a pretty funny story, I made my husband drive around looking for the gorgeous lupine flower fields that I remember so well when I lived there. But we found none. It turned out that this year, the lupines are a little later. I had to made do with a field of wild Queen Anne’s Lace instead.
